Loop for performance on Internal display. 2 cables: 1st TB3 out - 2nd TB3 in
Is this possible to remove the bottleneck? Treat one TB3 cable as an output to eGPU, treat the other as input from eGPU, so your internal display becomes your 'external monitor'.
Apologize if this has been discussed. I didn't see it.
I can use my internal display just fine for gaming on my Spectre x360, however I can't quite get the performance I need with my 40 gb cable. It's either the bottleneck or my chip just isn't fast enough.
Since I believe it's a bottleneck at times, why not loop the whole thing using two TB3 cables? I have two TB3 ports. Problem is I dont have two cables and haven't tried it. Is it possible to trick my computer and eGPU back to the same PC sending the signal out? Does it improve performance?
I couldn't find a YouTube video where they did it. Perhaps I didn't search hard enough.
