Hi,

I have this build and upgraded to Asus rog strix rx 5700 xt  mainly for testing purpuses
Performed clean install of Win10 18362.295,  DDU , latests  bootcampdrivers.com  install.

My benchmarks results are really poor with both GPUs:

ASUS TUF Radeon  RX 5600 XT   OC edition 6GB EVO

ASUS ROG STRIX  RX5700  XT

This guy build, is exactly the same as me except that I have a better cpu. He get 15840 results.
1400/1700 seems normal results when I compare to other RX 5700/5600 XT on the ungine result page

Same for Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark - (1680x1050, Medium, 8x AA):

ASUS TUF Radeon  RX 5600 XT   OC edition 6GB EVO
128 FPS / 3229 Score

ASUS ROG STRIX  RX5700 XT
149 FPS / 3771 Score

While this guy build get 4,294 with same setup as mine.

Would you please help me to investigate what I could have done wrong?

Thanks!

@daft_titan, I had very similar experience with latest drivers from bootcampdrivers.com.  Per suggestion from @itsage I switched to using April 2020 red drivers instead and saw performance go up considerably.  Note that @defcry build that you referred to above is also using April 2020 red drivers.  Here are the details of my experience:

@karant,

You rox man, thx a lot!

RX 5700 XT
Superposition: 15133 (was 3016)
Heaven: 170fps 4283 score (was 149 FPS / 3771)

RX 5600 XT
Superposition: 12613 (was 2991)
Heaven: 141 3558 score (was 128 FPS / 3229)

I need to decide if I keep the 5600 or the 5700.

The 5600 is new.
The 5700 is second hand and show sometime weird things (horizontal lines, flickering..) in benmarks both on Bootcamp and MacOs.
I did not overclock it. Maybe the previous owner was mining 24/24 or heavy gamer, I don't know what happen with this gpu.

I think it is a reason I should avoid to keep it?

@daft_titan, Yes, Do stay with April version of Radeon drivers unless you have an RX 6000 card which would need newer version.
