On 15-inch MBP 2018 OpenCL for nVidia Chips does not work since driver 416.84. Why?

In case you are wondering, that OpenCL seems to be gone for your nVidia, if you have an AMD dGPU. This is because with the newest driver there can be a problem:

GPUZ WITHOUTOPENCL

With 391.25 OpenCL was still supported on the same setup.

It looks like driver version 399.24 supports OpenCL for nVidia cards and 15-inch MacBookPros.

And 411.63 works, too. It works until 416.34. Since 416..81 OpenCL support is … gone.

Not the same card, or drivers, but with 417.22 I have OpenCL support on an RTX 2080 FE.

Thank you, for your reply, sir. For unknown reason with exact the same drivers, 417.22 there is no OpenCL support for GTX1080Ti:

GPUZ NoOpenCL 417.22

And it's not only GPU-Z, AIDA64 and other application confirm this:

GPGPU NoOpenCL GTX1080Ti 417.22

Does anybody has the slightest idea, what's going on here? Until 416.34 (inluding) OpenCL is working fine on a GTX1080Ti, but not later. I can also say, that a GTX1050 is hit by the same problem (same MacBookPro and eGPU enclosure though).

Furthermore, it's a brand-new Bootcamp installation.

On the other hand, on my second notebook, a 13-inch MacBookPro 2015 OpenCL works quite fine:

GPUZ OpenCL 417.22 13MBP2015

Exact Same:
-GPU
-eGPU enclosure
-nVidia driver 417.22
-Windows 10 Build 1803

Only difference is the MacBookPro, 13inch2015 works, 15inch2018 does not.
Anyone an idea how is that possible? Does anybody else have problems with the OpenCL on his nVidia cards on newer nVidia drivers?

My setup above is with a 13 inch 2018 model, might be some weird interaction/priority issue between the nvidia and amd  OpenCL drivers?

Yeah.. it looks like that again AMD dGPUs make lot of trouble. Here we have the same problem:

@oliverb can confirm same issue. I don't need OpenCL on Windows, but try DDUing all AMD/Intel drivers, and then setting up NVIDIA eGPU. Am guessing there are conflicts with AMD drivers.
