I was successfully running an AMD Radeon VII as an eGPU with an iMac Pro. I upgraded the dot release of Windows 10 1903 and the bootcamp.com drivers and now the eGPU no longer works- the dreaded "Error 12" problem. Any ideas of what may have changed and how to fix it?

Update: OS Build 18362.329 made AMD eGPU almost impossible to resolve error 12. Rollback to earlier build.

@keith_walls My recommendation is to run DDU and remove the Radeon graphics drivers. This driver removal process also disassociate the eGPU to the Thunderbolt port/PCIe connection. Once that is complete, you can download the latest modified Radeon drivers for your iMac Pro from bootcampdrivers.com.

I used DDU, reinstalled drivers, and it made no difference. The eGPU still generates an Error 12. Thanks.

What’s the procedure you use for connecting the eGPU in Boot Camp?
