I have a perfectly working Stealth with the MX150 internal graphic card and connected to a Sonnet breakaway box 500 using a MSI 2070 Armor edition.  I'm getting between 40-60 fps in most recent games connected to a MSI 34" Optix monitor @ 1440p.  Would the Spectre x360 13 late 2019 with a Core i7 and 16 gb of RAM get similar or better performance connected to that same eGPU set up?

There’s ways to manage the Spectre’s thermals better

But it has slower RAM than your Stealth. So performance might be the same.

Or potentially it could be the same, were it not for Windows now highly-advanced and fully-operational anti-eGPU weapon - error 12.

Thanks!  Thermals was one thing I was concerned since the Spectre doesn't seem built for lengthy game sessions compared to Razer.  I haven't experienced that error.  Does it only affect ice lake systems?

@gman407

It’s an ongoing Windows problem. Microsoft hasn’t been interested in offering a solution.

Keep your Blade on the same version of Windows.
