are there any benefits for updating thunderbolt software program? there has been an difficulty to do firmware improve on model 17.2 (i suppose), so i downgraded it to version 15. now i'm thinking about an upgrading the software program? is it really worth it?

@mehenwolf24, There's no real benefits to updating the Intel Thunderbolt Software/Thunderbolt Control Center. If the version you have allows new TBT device connection and firmware flash, keep it as is.
