update driver for egpu
I have the same problem but actually I don’t know how to solve it.

@jpme – how did you get your current driver installed?
I would try to download the latest AMD Adrenalin driver 18.2.1: https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-18.2.1-Release-Notes.aspx , disconnect from Internet, uninstall the existing driver and then try to install the new one. You may run into the yellow bang problem in the Device Manager, but it seems like you already know how to workaround it.
I just boot up and notice the amd radeon setting on the right click on screen. Update it directly like any normal update process.
Didn’t encounter anything at all along the way and didn’t do anything before that.
No problem at all after update. Everything is just as normal.
