Setting up GTX 1060 6GB + EXP GDC 8

Hello there,

i'm planning on upgrading my eGPU GTX 750 TI, which was working well in the Set Up of GTX 750 TI + EXP GDC 8 + dell d220p-01 psu.
Now I could get my hands on a GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X and here it comes to me question. Since the GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5x has an additional 8Pin input on its top corner...

First off, the Geforce GTX 1060 6GB has quite a low power consumption (120W) so my thinking is that the Dell d220p-01 (220W) should be enough to use it as an eGPU. (?)

How would i need to set it up? The EXP GDC 8 has a "8P Power Output" where i connected the 8Pin plug coming from the dell d220p-01 aswell as a"6P Power Output" on the opposite site.

The Zotac Gefore GTX 1060 GDDR5X comes with a 8Pin to 2x 6Pin Adapter Cable.

Could i use this one to plug the 8P into the GPU and one of the 6P into the remaining EXP GDC 6P Port? And leave the the other 6P untouched?

Theoretically as shown in the Manual below on page 11

Thanks in advance for any help

*Edit: So i just found this Video on Youtube

With someone using it in that way. I guess it should work then for me aswell, right?
