@fsaguiguit, the standard power supply is only 650 watts, so i don't see why it would be a problem...

@cheeky, dimensions seem to work well. Did you manage to install this successfully? Has anyone otherwise?

Just bought a Corsair SF600 Platinum. The PSU fan is driving me insane. I'll think of some way to fasten it. Velcro perhaps?

I'll post n installation post once it arrives and I have time to deal with it.

Rocking a Mac mini 2018/2020 i7-8700B 6C/12T with 32Gb RAM, and a PowerColor 5700 XT humming along in its Razer Core X.

@alberto_esteban, I installed one nicely into a Razer Core X for a relative's mac mini last year. I used several layers of double-sided thermal tape to secure it within the chassis.

Here is a link to the tape if interested.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0861JPB33/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_qqNXFbWD4WXTY

I haven't made the leap yet to an egpu for my own Mac Pro.

Cheers!

@cheeky, A Mantiz Saturn Pro in black finish would make a very nice eGPU for your 2013 Mac Pro! I've been using one and the front SD slot is something I use all the time. Mac Pro is running very cool and quietly now that the eGPU handles most of the graphics tasks.

@itsage, Yes it would. Especially with a Corsair SF750 Power supply in place of the original it ships with.

I was hoping the Mantiz enclosure would have been more like the all-metal TUL reference design from CES 2020. But that enclosure would have made the MSRP much higher than what it sells for now.

When AMD releases new pro cards based on RDNA2 (or 3) I might finally get an eGPU. I just can't swallow the price they are charging now for the Radeon Pro VII.

Cheers!

Unfortunately, it seems that Mantiz decided not to provide this colour option anymore.

@cheeky, The reference design was not an attractive enclosure but it was very user friendly. The side hinged access panel is intuitive. Materials while metal were the best from what I recalled. I think Mantiz did a great job with the Saturn Pro.

I tried different things to use a Radeon VII in eGPU mode. Sadly the fan-full-speed issue in most enclosures was never resolved. The Mantiz Venus and Razer Core X were the very few that played well with it. I don't know if that's the same with the firmware in Radeon Pro VII. Lovely card though!

@matthew_kwong I do hope they make another run with different finishes in future production.

Ok so I got the Noctua, the fans AWESOMELY QUIET.
I am expecting my SF750 this week! So super excited.

my BIG question is! Fan placement! If the SF750 fan is outputting hot air on the same side at the new noctua 120 fan, which is default a intake source. Should I change the Noctua to a exhaust as well and have my Gigabyte Vega 56 fans be the intake only?

or any suggestion is welcome THANKYOU!

@maxou_1403

I am running an Asus ROG strix RTX2080ti on my razer core x chroma and psu fan started to play up. Replaced the core x case fan with a noctua NF A12x25 4 pin into the 3 pin in the core x and replaced the PSU with a corsair SF750 (double taped into place). The corsair SF750 fits great into the space in razer core x chroma, especially the power switch and power cable. I took out the grill in the back of the chroma that sits on case fan to further improve airflow. The fit is great and allows room to manage cable between case fan and psu. Works like a dream and super quiet now. Love it.
