@nando4, Thanks for the information, really helpful. Please, let me know your insights about the situation below:
I've bought the R43SG-TB to use as an eGPU with NVidea RTX to play Call of Duty warzone, I'm experiencing FPS varying from 15 fps to 65 fps which causes lots of LAG.
Do you know if there are software optimizations that can be made to improve this performance (stabilization)? I already set all the graphics configs to prioritize performance over quality but does work. (I do not want to connect by M2, too much open stuff to be a portable thing, also I do not want more than 60FPS, so I'm looking for a workaround to get there).
Thanks

.Setup:
2018 Lenovo X1 6th Gen
AMD RX480
Issue:
Ok so the PSU has the green light, I've got two green lights on the ADT-link (briefly had a red light on D3, but removing the bridge on the J pins fixed that). GPU lights come on, but not the fans. Tried all the other switch combinations and triple checked the cables.
The TB3 software manager detects the ADT-Link adapter, but the GPU doesn't show up in device manager and is not detected by the AMD driver installer. The TB3 manager says the ADT-link adapter is on bus power (not sure if just referring to the NVME to TB3 dongle or the entire device).
Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to get this working. Thanks so much!

.Currently a list of SSD enclosures of varying compatibility with different NVMe to PCIE boards is scattered in various M.2 builds and discussions across the forum. It'd be nice to have a consolidated list somewhere.

I seem to be having the exact same issue, could it be an AMD incompatibility? I'm using an RX580 in my setup.

.This r43sg-tb3 says its not compatible with TB2 , can anybody please clear it out why it is so, i mean if i buy this R43SG-TB3 and buy an official Apple TB3-TB2 adapter, will it work ?please respond quickly.
My setup:
Macbook air 2017(i5-5350u)(3C,4T ,1.8GHz-2.8GHz)
Port: TB2 port
Ram 8GB,
SSD:500 GB

.@abdullah_khan, The TB3 board needs downstream Power Delivery from a Thunderbolt 3 port. Thunderbolt 2 connection does not provide Power Delivery and therefore the R43SG-TB3 cannot power on.

@itsage, so then how can we plug a razer core x with apple TB3 to TB2 to plug it into a TB2 powered MacBook, then it shall not work with them too..

.@abdullah_khan, You compare two different power arrangements. The ADT-Link R43SG-TB3 requires downstream Power Delivery from a host to power on. The Razer Core X has a PSU that powers its Thunderbolt 3 mainboard and can even provide upstream Power Delivery to the host when applicable.

@itsage, Okey ,
So can you help me find a solution here, I really want to use this ADT R43SG Adapter, and not the Razer core X, how can i make this possible ?
I mean shall i but a separate Tbunderbolt 3 to nvme ssd enclosure and add this R43SG to it o what..I am sorry but i am not a very technical person here .

.@abdullah_khan, use a JEYI Thunderdock 7 Mini + ADT-Link R43SG + Apple TB3 to TB2 adapter + 20V PD adapter. The Thunderdock provides upstream power courtesy of the PD adapter.
Alternatively, consider TB2 enclosures from https://egpu.io/best-egpu-buyers-guide/#tb2-enclosures which would cost less .
