Mounting a hybrid radiator in the Node results in the case not being able to close properly. If you inverse the mounting bracket you can rotate the fan 90º, and the case closes properly.

This means the hoses are then either above or below the radiator rather than on the side. Is this a bad idea?

Placing the radiator so that the hoses stay on top would be the best option imo.

That's what I went with. Having the hoses on the bottom cramps them up against the side of the GPU too much. Just want to make sure there isn't any issue with trapped air at the wrong point/pressure on the pump/etc.

Nice  Curious did you use Node's fan or Evga's Fans? I'm going to install hybrid on Akitio node next week

thanks

Thanx for the pictures, somewhere I prefer to let it open, I suppose that with the water cooling no need to close the box.

MBP 2018, Touch Bar, i7 2.6 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1T SSD, Radeon 560X... very nice!

Really nice mod! Quick question, were the water cables to short, is that why you sandwiched the radiator with the 2 Noctua fans? I like your setup and wanted to use the same 1080 seahawk but just wanted to just use the corsair fan and radiator. I would imagine it would still be able to mount up? Thanks in advance for the information!
