Any news for TB4 Enclosure (JHL8540 / JHL8340) ?

Tiger Lake H45 laptop is coming soon. Do you guys have any news about eGPU with TB4 controller (JHL8540 / JHL8340) ?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@terry, TB4 eGPUs will never be a thing. Here's why:

The TB3 bus contained DP and PCIe packets where the USB4 bus contains DP and USB and PCIe packets so if you want to build an eGPU with USB ports then a USB4/TB4 (same thing) dock makes a lot of sense. On TB3 docks, the USB ports are either problematic (one TB3 controller) or super expensive (two TB3 controllers).

I suspect we have none yet only because of the component shortage.
