Does using a TB3 eGPU enclosure disable my Alienware M15 R2's internal RTX2070 dGPU?

I'm using an DELL Alienware M15 R2... and it has a RTX2070 built in (along with an internal intel graphics adapter).  Whenever I plug in my Razer eGPU ... it disables my RTX2070 and then starts using my GTX1070 I have in the GPU.  I realize the RTX2070 is better, but for the time being I wanted to use the GTX 1070 in the eGPU so I can connect more monitors...

Will that work?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Do you see the RTX 2070 dGPU in Device Manager when the GTX 1070 eGPU + Razer TB3 enclosure is connected? I know if it was the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, the Alienware graphics switcher software would automatically disable the dGPU following a restart. It does not do so for Thunderbolt 3 connection.
