Hello guys.

Kindly ask you to help me with my problem - connet my MBA and 1080 inside Node.

I saw Akitio Node in MacOS (and no GTX1080 inside - still no driver), but didnt see this or any othe device  in Win10.  So, when i try to update firmware Node`s drivers via Firmware version v1.0.0.4 B1-23+3.6.1 ( https://www.akitio.com/firmware/node-firmware)

have such  message - screenshot 1 in attach

When i try to boot in Win with installed 1080 in node - only black screen.

When i try to boot in Win without videocard (only connected MBA and Node via Thunderbolt cable ) - boot - ok, but the same like i said before (no any devices via Thunderbolt port).

Have some one the same problem ?

Please help.

Many thanks for your kind attention.

First you need to update Thunderbolt 3 Driver: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/MOTHERBOARD/Intel/ASRock-Z270-SuperCarrier-Intel-Thunderbolt-Driver-16-2-52-250.shtml#download

Then you must update the Node -  https://www.akitio.com/firmware/node-firmware

1.First you need to update Thunderbolt 3 ...

2.Then you must update the Node

1. Done. However recieved such message, when try to launch Thunderbolt Software http://screenshot.ru/upload/image/z8mN"><img src=" " border="0"></a>" target="true"><>

2. When try to boot with iunstalled card - still black screen. When without card - no device. If launch Node update file - recieved this http://screenshot.ru/upload/image/z8mz"><img src=" " border="0"></a>" target="true"><

P.S.  sorry for bad links (

Update 1. Both version of drivers on Thunderbolt  ( old 2.0.4.250, and new 16.2.52.250) give the same trouble

Thunderbolt in Divece Manager became available/visible, however "there are no driver of this device".

Any minds what can i do ?

Newer versions of Intel Thunderbolt Software prevent installation in Boot Camp. You can try downloading and installing this older version of Intel Thunderbolt Software -  https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23742/Thunderbolt-Intel-Thunderbolt-driver

Already tried new and old thunderbolt drivers. No result. Still cannot see Node in Windows.

When I power on the Windows and plug Node before chosen Win in boot menu, I can find "Thunderbolt" in Device Manager. But this device "There is no driver for this device" in description.

Maybe I should do something in Mac`s terminal before start windows ?

P.S. my proposal Is still actual. Please help

I'm using a 2015 iMac 5K 27" + PowerColor Devil Box, (GTX 1080), and I'm getting the same errors while trying to update my Devil Box. I realize the Node and Devil Box are different, but it is the same Thunderbolt 2 -> Thunderbolt 3 adapter, and it's giving BootCamp the same errors.

So, you think, thats impossible to use Node /Box in Devices with TB/TB2 ?

It's not impossible... @itsage has done it with the Node. It just looks like that the Thunderbolt firmware update utility can't see the eGPU in order to update it.

In theory, if it was updated, then you'd be able to see and test it. I don't have any Thunderbolt 3 PCs to update it from, though.

I've been emailing PowerColor support, but they just told me to install AMD XConnect... Which doesn't do anything except tell me "No AMD hardware installed".

Still w8ing mail from AkiTio support team...

Find  https://egpu.io/forums/builds/2015-macbook-pro-retina-15-tb2-apple-adapter-akitio-node-gtx-1060-win10-success/

But I really don't know how to figure  out and solve this task..kill full day on it...

If anyone have the same problems and find how to fix  - write please.
