Hi.
I would like to know if anyone could successfully replace the standard GTX 1070 with a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Mini ITX 8G.
I know that Aorus Gaming Box GTX 1080 is diferent than Gigabyte's GTX 1080 Mini ITX, but I'm wondering if it does work.
Enclosure specs seem to be the same for both Gaming Box version. And both Geforces mini ITX have the same dimensions and power connector.
So, I would like to know if anyone tried it.
thanks

@precision01 It does work. It may not run as cool as the naked GTX 1080 ITX version is all.

Since my eGPU stays hidden behind external display most of the time, one option is to open the Aorus eGPU enclusure to allow more ventilation. Thanks for the reply @itsage !
