Gigabyte Vega Nano Gaming Box
can you sell me a Vega nano for 450? I will pay shipping please!
? Sorry it's not for sale
I've been using this vega nano gaming box for a few weeks now and it really is awesome, especially when you adjust the power limit down to keep the temps in check otherwise things get VERY HOT and unstable if you don't have good airflow. The performance is absolutely amazing for this little box; very pleased!
There is no question this is by far the best eGPU on the market imho and it works with mac!
I concur a Vega Nano eGPU is something a lot of people want. $800 MSRP or less would make it a much better deal and solution compared to Blackmagic RP580 for Mac users.
The entire lot in Korea and Taiwan must be hanged in front of the people for their grave crimes. First it was the memory price fixing, now these cards are overpriced. Now everything costs more. These hustlers squeeze harder and harder against the American Companies. But then again, we should bring all the old political leadership, even if they are retired and hang them in Times Square to create an example of them. This is why you don't outsource everything, this is why you hold on to production capabilities. Because of all these external factors, now I can't have my Vega 56 Nano for a fair price. Charging double the price of MSRP? where did that come from. These criminals all over the world and all their ilk will have a day where they fall.
@solocamper I understand your frustrations but please don't start political and hate speech. We're here to discuss external graphics technology.
@irev210 nice job!
I have a question, which type of the original gaming box is, AMD or Nvidia?
I was told that the AMD gaming box is different with Nvidia on board or something.
By the way, where did you buy the Vega nano?
I would love to know this as well. I am hoping that the Vega Nano in the 1070 Gaming box on mac will work like a native supported AMD eGPU for mac OS Mojave.
@steve500 Thank you. wgat about the power supply did you upgrade it? Does it need upgrading. It has enough power I suppose but it uses up to 100 to power the mbp. Can you please confirm what power supply there is in the 1070 box? I have the rx580. Please update with any benchmarks what is your setup? thanks
