Since there is no power button on the Gigabyte AORUS Gaming Box (2080Ti, 3080 and 3090), how do you gracefully power down the eGPU without damaging the components?
@roedi78 suggests using a power cable with a switch, which I personally feel it may still have the possibility of damaging the components.
BTW, how do you turn on the laptop without opening the lid and hit the power button? Currently, I never shut down my old laptop, just putting it to sleep and wake it up with my wireless USB mouse.

@matthew_kwong, you have to press the reset button for 3 seconds to shut it down

Can anyone confirm that? Is that what the rest button long-press supposed to do? @itsage, I notice you mention holding the power reset button in other posts. Can you confirm that?
