I have a fairly new setup that I have been running for about a month. Alienware 17 R4 with intel 7700hq linked to an external RTX 3060

Today my pc lost power resulting in a windows crash. Ever since then I keep getting freezes/ application crashes and a few BSOD’s whenever I try to use the egpu. I am kind of lost on how to troubleshoot this because it was working just fine before :/

anyone have any advice?

I was going to try a clean install of windows but that is kind of a hassle

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

The first thing I would do is unplug your eGPU and run DDU + restart. Once your system has restarted, attach your eGPU and let it do a fresh installation and install the relevant NVIDIA drivers.

If that doesn't work, I would also suggest looking into this forum post and trying to apply the fixes.

Let us know how you go.
