Heya! Need your thoughts on this.

So I’ve got a MacBook Pro 16 and I need a powerful NVIDIA card strictly for rendering. I decided that I’ll get a Razer Core X enclosure with an NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB, which I’ll run on a bootcamped Windows 10 (I won’t need it on the macOS, I have the Radeon 5500 for there).

Since I’ll use it mainly for rendering and the data transfer is different than gaming I was wondering what performance loss I will get and is it worth getting that card. I chatted with some users using the same card and they are pretty satisfied, but they mostly game.

I’ll use it on the internal monitor in the beginning. So has somebody tested/done/is doing that, strictly for rendering and what are your thoughts on using this at all?

Appreciated. Take care! ✌️
