which NUC thunderbolt drivers did you install?  I installed 16.2.55.1 and doesn't seem to be working still.  Device manager shows a Thunderbolt(TM) Controller - 15D2 when the Mantiz is plugged in but no graphics card.  If I plug it in once booted I get the device connected chime immediately followed by the disconnect sound.

Lunchbox, I'm facing this exact same issue. It was all working, until I installed the new NVidia drivers. Now I;ve reinstalled bootcamp with different versions of windows, and I even got back to sierra. It works on sierra, high sierra, but on windows  I get the device connected chime immediately followed by the disconnect sound. Please help 🙁

Ultimately my solution was to have my logic board replaced under warranty as these issues were the first indicators of a logic board failure that was to come things got progressively worse and unstable under both windows and osx environments and with other thunderbolt 3 devices.  Since the logic board replacement I have had only a few minor issues here and there which have been easily worked out, usually only with a restart.
