150mm length power supply doesn't fit because it blocks motherboard power connector on the eGPU board. What ATX options are there of a higher wattage/efficiency?

The Corsair SF600 600W SFX12V should work 😉 It's on my wishlist and I will order it next week.

Did anyone know if there is a "fan control" for the front fan on macOS? I change the original one with a Noctua NF-P12 PWM and it always runs at full power. I have also changed the original fan in the PSU because the the rattling sound drives me crazy. HP shouldn't buy such cheap fans ...

(put a fan from my Synology NAS DS1515+ in the PSU with 12V and 0.2A, because the Noctua NF-A8 FLX with 0.07A wont work).

For both fans you have to "cut the cables", because the standard plug (3 Pin or 4 Pin) won't fit or glued into the PSU ... thanks HP.

Need 140mm psu.  Seasonic Focus Plus series works great.

I was able to fit that one in my Omen accelerator, the PSU mentioned is produced by Seasonic and the formfactor is the same up to 750W ( Seasonic PRIME Ultra 750 W Platinum. But mine at 550W run a Radeon RX580 without problem so I don't see any use of a higher wattage PSU.

Got the Omen Accelerator for around 240€ with a student discount which is a very impressive price. Currently running with my Dell XPS 13 with i5 8250U.

Despite the fact that the XPS has "only" 2 TB Lanes, it runs as smooth as my old Desktop with the i5 2500k.

Definitely the best decision I've made!

So it works with Thunderbolt 2? Asking because I am using a MacBook with Thunderbolt 2 and i'd like to get the Accelerator for BootCamp

what's your graphics card? could you talk about its performance in gaming in detail?

Would this not work with a USB C port at all? ie, even if it's got a massive drop in performance?

Because I've got an HP EliteDesk mini PC and that's all it has (even been high end!!), no thunderbolt there...
