Hello folks,
Due to a random chain of events I've been left in charge of a Razer Core X (650W PSU) and a Palit RTX 3090. Now looking at the various forums posts compatibility will vary, but this one has the 2 8 pin ports and fits the chasis.
In a nutshell, it comes to life, the fans spin and the lights come on, but my Dell XPS 15 shows the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, but never detects the card (and sporadically reboots). So the question I have a this point, is there any way(without getting my hands on another GPU) I can tell if this is due to the card being underpowered vs the eGPU config just being wrong on the windows side?
Thanks
Tom

@tom_barber, Does your XPS 15 have an Nvidia dGPU? If it does, download and run DDU to remove the existing graphics drivers first then manually install the latest Nvidia drivers for both eGPU and dGPU.
