Razer Core X: remove 120mm stock fan

Dear all

I have a noisy Razer Core X (most when in idle state and in a silent room). I can hear something like a continuous 'bzzzzzzzzzzz' coming from it.

So I decided to disconnect the 3-pin plug out of stock 120mm fan and it looks like the noise has gone.

I have used it a couple of hours for FCP editing (I use it mostly for video work, some 3d and for a snappy 4k interface that my macmini late 2018 can't handle out of stock).

May I use it without the fan? I have a MSI Vega56 airboost in it that come with a fan...

Alternative I can mount a Noctua NF-A12x25 FLX as described in other threads. What's your thought? Considering that my GPU come with the own fan...
