Review: Razer Core Thunderbolt 3 eGPU Enclosure
Sure, when I get home. At work presently.
I'm posting to be entered into the draw, but I'm also delighted to have found this site! I was about to embark down the hackintosh route, but now maybe what I really want is an external GPU and a fast laptop - best of both worlds!
Thanks for the hard work
Did we ever determine why the USB ports on the Core are so flaky? Based on an earlier post here, or possibly on Reddit, I wonder if instead of sending USB 3.1 properly over the USB-C/Thunderbolt-3 connection, Razer instead chose to do software emulation of USB and transmit it over the PCIe channels that are shared with the GPU. I dunno -- that's just a stab in the dark. I know nothing about lower-level hardware/connection stuff.
Uhm, I'm rather new here, actively looking for an eGPU enclosure. For me, the Razer isn't a viable option as the driver support suggests that I need a TB software which accepts eGPUs by default. If anyone has any input on this, please let me know (clarification: my TB software says "External GPU Supported : NO").
Still, having a GPU for my as-of-yet-undecided enclosure will would help a lot So I'd like to sign up for the draw, if that's ok. Thanks.
@switch which computer model do you have? All TB3 enclosures with the newer TI83 controller should work even if the Intel Thunderbolt Software shows "External GPU Supported: NO".
We have one more week to go for the GTX 980 Ti giveaway. Here are the names I have so far:

So glad I found this website! Looking to invest in my first eGPU and the graphics card would be a great addition! Thanks for running the competition!
