Email from Sonnet, but none of the links are active/working.  This is the text:

Introducing Sonnet's NEW eGPU Breakaway Duo
Rackmount | Desktop Editions

Seems like a multi GPU solution to be available soon?

@begpu, Can you post a screen capture if there's a picture? I recall hearing they were working on a eGFX solution for the Mac mini. A rackmount enclosure with two Thunderbolt 3 connections to the Mac mini would be sweet! They have existing xMac mini Server which already uses Thunderbolt 3.

Text only without images.  Link to current models does not work.  No mention on their website at all.

Hi,

I have spoken with Sonnet on the latest IBC 2019 about this eagerly awaited product which was at that time still in development. It shall come as rack or desktop unit with the power management already built in like with the Netstor HL23T-Plus... there shall be place for two - two slot and half graphic cards placed horizontally when used in rack horizontal position and it might have also USB 3.1 gen 2 dual processor chipset with several female USB 3.1 gen. 2 A connectors. This shall be the new King in the town specially for the new Mac Pro power users. It might come with special Thunderbolt 4 card which still has USB - C style female connectors which interconnects via thunderbolt 3/4 cable as external PCI Express 8x interconnection (not as the old 4x one) as advanced PCI Express protocol - new in town which is not transfer limited to theoretical 40Gbps - but to 80Gps also via optical fibre Thunderbolt 3/4 cable. It might also have additional Thunderbolt 3/4 ports for expanding further as 4x or 8x mode. There might also be new Thunderbolt 4 card available from Apple which shall support this new protocol which one of the first adopters shall be the Sonnet products so basically the interconnection card might be available only by Apple and not Sonnet!

Most probably it shall be released end of March this year just before NAB exhibition which might be the first such event as online event because of the Covid -19 RNA based virus situation closed to the public... This shall be the great opportunity that the newest IP technologies come to play as the foundation for all latter exhibitions such as IBC, CES and etc ...

Best regards,

Gorazd
