[Sticky] [SCRIPT] TBTFlash - Convenient eGFX Flashing for macOS
@alexmenn, The eGPU enclosures from Razer are good. They all have full Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth and Power Delivery so there's no benefit in flashing the firmware.
@piipperi800, This is useful for flashing FW with better bandwidth/features than the one the eGPU enclosure came with. For example, a Sonnet Breakaway 350 doesn't provide more than 15W Power Delivery. It uses the same mainboard with enclosures such as Sonnet Breakaway 550 and Mantiz Venus. Flashing the FW from those enclosures enables 87W PD on the Sonnet Breakaway 350. You'd need to either install a low-power GPU or upgrade the PSU. There are also instances where the original FW of an enclosure has limited H2D bandwidth. A newer FW would address this issue, but some Mac users might not have/want Boot Camp to perform the FW update in Windows.
And is macOS Big Sur support in the works or completely abandoned?
Haven't had time to work on any of my projects really. If I do get a chance, I'll look into updating it.

I'm a Mantiz Saturn Pro User. I saw that the firmware version of this box is 44.4 on http://egpu.io, while the firmware version of this one on my hand is 44.1. I didn't find any tutorials or articles about upgrading. How can I upgrade the firmware version?
