@exklim As someone keenly interested in the nitty-gritties involved with eGPUs (and tech in general), I would really appreciate it if you could answer @yukikaze's superbly compiled set of questions.

We will setup a review unit for you guys at eGPU.io for their tests.

We’ve invited Yukikaze for a call but he haven’t reply. We would love to explain our algorithm with details by phone rather than txt. Therefore he will be able to explain you perfectly.

The ex Core is an amazing walktrough.
Weve invited several competitors to do the same to reduce the MXM cost as is makd as Industrial card (expensive).
So we finally got a perfect margin quote.

@exklim - I replied. I stated that I would much prefer your answers by text, as they can be judged directly by  the community without my interpretation and you completely ignored my post(s). What is so hard about answering (at least some of) the questions that I've compiled, especially the ones that are literally Yes/No?

Want to output [email protected] out of an old system on the cheap? Read here.
Give your Node Pro a second Thunderbolt3 controller for reliable peripherals by re-using a TB3 dock (~50$).

It’s more than algorithm at this point wouldn’t you say? With all the mind-bending hardware involved. Also, I don’t see the difference between you calling @yukikaze, explaining it to him, then him posting on egpu.io versus just you posting on the forum (the latter being easier).

At at this point, if I were in your shoes I would’ve at least tried to answer those questions. You are simply hurting your credibility by dodging them. A simple reason why this community requests more information from you is as @itsage said - we are a niche, we need to be accurate.

A simple reason why you lose credibility by being silent - you’re not Apple or some equivalent. If Apple were making the eX Core - this thread would never have spawned. We would have nodded heads.

I stated earlier that the product itself is not that impossible. Quite possible from a technical aspect. Not taking certification and licensing into account.

But the right out mix of ignorant, aggressive and threatening behaviour tells me this is nothing more than a scam.

Every other decent product developer - and I personally know quite a few ranging from high end Trimble to smaller companies staffed with less then five people - will happily tell you about their products.
They know them, the technical challenges and what they do better or worse then the competition out there.

Even on this forum representatives or staff from Mantis, Akitio and AMD is happily answering questions, offer guidance or at least acknowledge the problem or lack of solution in those cases.

These “developers” give us BS and threats.
That is not how developers do it. That’s how scammers work.

Present: 2012 Mac mini + PowerColor RX 56 Vega Nano @10Gbps-TB1 + PowerColor Mini eGFX 180F via Apple TB3 to TB2 + macOS Catalina 10.15.4

Previous: 2012 Mac Mini + GTX1070 @ 10Gbps-TB1 (AKiTiO Thunder3 via Apple TB3 to TB2 adapter) + macOS

2012 Mac Mini [3rd,4C,Q] + GTX 970 @ 10Gbps-TB1>TB3 (AKiTiO Node) + macOS 10.12.4 [build link]

Apologize, I didn’t know Akitio and AMD was involved in this forum. In this case I can’t get very technical but I’ll do my best to answer them.
Let’s start with your first question.

@exklim - You have a list of questions. You've had it for a few hours now. Go ahead and start answering.

Whats the matter about AMD or Akitio being involved here @exklim? Its a public forum where enthusiasts, makers and companys get together, what technical info would you hold back now that you know other companys are active here? Its not like @Yukikaze was asking for schemas anyways, the questions don't go into deep technical details. While I'm not active, like a lot of others I follow the news and discussions and my decision to support such kickstarter projects is completely based on what the independent experts here conclude.

I am "new" to this site and now I have to include myself to these forums. I think this is so much fun. I can't wait to see when people "receives" those review units. There are only two things that can happen: 1. They wont receive. 2. We finally see the truth, it is not fully working device or doesn't give power as promised(wow..).

@exklim As for customer relations, this is extremely bad. So bad that I would never, ever do any business with company like this. If You are scamming people, LIE BETTER. If You actually have the device, learn to improve communication between people and use FACTS.

3rd party review from notebookcheck for example. I have already informed You through email and You responded:"They have reviewed it already". Which is a lie and a bad one.
