I just learned (happily) that TI82 chipped enclosures are now on the menu thanks to the fantastic work by @mac_editor. Aside from testing and configuring for clients, I haven't had an eGPU to call my own. I'd like to get one as cheap as possible while still looking decent. This means Razer Core v1. I won't be connecting any USB devices or ethernet, it's strictly for the GPU.
Any caveats?
This would likely sit permanently on a 2012 Mac Mini and play the occasional game of StarCraft 2. Might even relent at this point and use an AMD GPU - probably a used Vega 56.
