I have an akitio node titan with a gigabyte 1070 mini-itx. I have an HP spectre x360, all drivers current. Fresh reset of Windows. Windows current. Nvidia stuff all current. The laptop recognizes and uses the 1070 for mining and gaming. The one thing it does not do is charge the laptop.

I have done restarts galore.

I have disabled/enabled batteries.

I have done essentially everything else I can find online to do. The eGPU will charge for maybe ten seconds and then just stops. The HP charger is now doing the same thing. The Gods are displeased, please help.

Since it has a DC in port, it seems that your laptop is not compatible for charging through thunderbolt ports.

@zhy3213, no DC in port. it charges through the USB-C/thunderbolt ports. I misspoke about the hp charger. It works fine on its own, will not charge while the Egpu is plugged in. The eGPU itself will charge for a few seconds then stop.
