@edward_liu, that could definitely work, since the gpu is vertically mounted in the eGPU it doesn’t need that plate for stabilization/support

Ok, will report back once I get the enclosure.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@mymantiz_john, Thanks!

Which color is your favorite? Smile

This one is always my favorite Color!! Love Kiss

I think I'm going to get this card. Can you close the eGPU cover? Does it overheat it? Why do you have the cover off? Thanks! 😄

MacBook Pro 16" - 2.3 i9, 16GB, 1TB, 5500m (I added thermal pads to the VRMs); Mantiz Saturn Pro w/ PowerColor Red Devil 5700 XT (previously, a Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming Box) + LG OLED C9

@arzen, I like it to be naked. that’s it. Over heat? No.

Explain in technical way. To remove the cover actually is not goos for an eGPU system. So I am making a bad example. GPU fan needs to have enough pressure. In my case with the opening cover won’t be supply enough fan pressure to GPU. So do not do the same even you guys love the naked body.

@mymantiz_john, got it. It does look very cool like that.

Does the top of the eGPU case fit with the RedDevil 5700XT?

On June 21, 2020, I purchased Mantiz Saturn Pro, and now on September 19, a total of less than three months. It is found that the fan of the power supply is faulty.

The fan of the power supply will make a very annoying sound when it rotates, and it is periodic.

I have contacted Mantiz's after-sales staff, and they said they will send me a new power supply next Monday, and then ask me to manually replace it.

I guarantee that the sound is indeed coming from the fan of the power supply. Because when the load is not high, the fan does not rotate and there is no noise; when the power supply fan starts to rotate, the noise appears immediately, and judging from the sound source, the noise also comes from the power supply.

MacBook Pro 2018, 15inch
ThinkPad X1 Extreme, 2nd generation
Mantiz Saturn Pro + AMD Radeon VII

Gigabyte GC-Titan Ridge
ASUS Thunderbolt EX3

I will finish my desktop PC in a few months. I only need one motherboard now. ASUS X299 Deluxe II and Gigabyte X299X Aorus master are the target motherboards.

@mymantiz_john, any chance you'll be shipping to Amazon Japan sometime soon? eGPUs are pretty popular here.

There’s no such a plan...

Sorry for that.

Do not worry, our service team will send you the PSU.

I just ordered my Saturn Pro! Thanks to all those in the forum who contributed, especially @itsage and @mymantiz_john

FYI, I finally settled on Black. I think it'll hold the most resale value if I need to sell it again later and it looks clean with most setups. I'm planning to throw a Red Devil 5700 XT in it -- and upgrade after the dust settles on AMD's event (and good drivers appearing in MacOS).
