I would like to be part of the give away. Long time lurker, this would be my first eGPU. I would to experiment with alternate power supplies.
Host Computer: XPS 15 9570 i7

The world is full of data, learn to listen
Nice clean and efficient setup. It would fit good to my Dell Inspiron 7577 which is my mobile workstation for 3D CAD and 3D printing.
The laptop ist the most upgrade able one I found last year (<1000 €) it has a m2 nvme slot, sata3 slot, can handle up to 32Gb DDR4 ram and has a full bandwidth tb3 slot.
The i7 does his job very well but if the integrated 1050 4Gb is working to, thermal throttle is the solution.
Nice product. Slim and sleek. I'm a master student and using Yoga 720 15" for my thesis research in Architecture. Add me to the list. Thanks for the great review.
Using a new lenovo yoga 730 15....would use the enclosure for gpu rendering for 3d apps, and to assist the load while rendering out davinci resolve
Hello there - yeah, a giveaway! I would use the Visiontek with my LG Gram 2018 15 inch and use it to help render videos using Davinci Resolve.

Hey there! Thanks for the review. I would be rockin' it between computers. At home it would connect to my i5 Nuc and on the go I would use it with my macbook air 2018. Sometimes for gaming mostly at home off the nuc, and 3d animation/rendering when working away from home on my mac.
I have a Gigabyte Brix (BSI7HT-6500) that I use at school to do my work, but it doesn't have any gaming or rendering capability. I would use this to both play games and also be able to use rendering software for chemistry and biology molecular modeling for my major.

Hi guys - anyone know, how you can get this from Europe? Visiontek does not sell the eGPU outside USA or Canada on their website and none of the international vendors they have listed on their site carry it either. Sucks ... one of the best eGPUs on the market apparently and they dont know how to sell it properly.

XPS 13 9370 - Been thinking about EGPU but I'm a student and it seems rather expensive. Been "playing" on the IGPU.

Great review! Seems like a sweet package. I’d use it for gaming on my MacBook Pro 13”. I’ve never had a laptop that could run games so this would be perfect!

This would be perfect for my 2016 15" MacBook Pro. I don't like the big enclosures so this would be perfect standing next to my MacBook.
My most intended use would be some gaming. Can't wait to see how Kerbal Space Program or Anno 1800 would look like maxed out.
Recently i'm also into some photography and video editing. This could speed it up a little!
Is the give away for us Europeans too? If so count me in!

Long time lurker, been thinking about a EGPU for a while... like the idea of dual thunderbolt controller to ease latency on connected pheriphials...count me in for the giveaway. I'd like to use this for CAD and gaming on a Lenovo P51.
Lenovo P51
Zotac Amp mini 185w
Radeon RX570 sapphire Itx
Nice article!
I use Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop that has a dedicated nvidia 960m card, which is starting to show its age. When I was buying this laptop, I was planning to get my hands on one of these eGPU solutions and extend the laptop's life by greatly increasing it's graphics power. I wasn't able to buy any eGPU yet, mainly due to the high price of both the enclosures and the cards themselves, so this giveaway would be a perfect opportunity!
Thanks

I am using a 2018 MacBook 13-inch, and would love for it to be able to play some better games.
Would be nice to win the Limited Edition Mini eGFX bundle. I'd connect it to my HP Zbook15 G2 to help edit 360 videos
Great review. I ordered the limited edition with the R570 for my 2018 MBA on the basis of this review and have been delighted with it. Never thought I’d see my MacBook running Talos Principle smoothly at 4K on ultra!
I’m curious about replacing the fan however to get a silent solution. Noctua don’t seem to do a replacement in the right form factor. Any suggestions?
I am using good old XPS 9350 for my master thesis, but now I am lacking some GPU power. Since I have to be able to move, I cannot have a desktop around. eGpu solutions are best fit for my problem but many of them are as big as an ITX case anyway. But this one is perfect, so small that I can put it in my back pack and carry with me. And the extra USB sockets will definitely help connecting external HDD's.

Thank you all for the giveaway entries. @Mat_hd is the winner. We hope the VisionTek Mini eGFX RX 570 can further help him with modifying Radeon drivers for Boot Camp support.
Hello I’m Mat from www.bootcampdrivers.com.
I modify, build and test AMD graphics drivers suitable for Macs running BootCamp (Windows 10), ensuring they are kept up-to-date alongside PC versions of the driver. I also make it easier for eGPU users to get their eGPUs up and running alongside their internal GPUs by baking support for both in one driver package.I currently only have the ability to test the drivers on my m295X inside my iMac 5k from 2014.
With the VisionTek RX570 I would be able to test the eGPU with the drivers which will help to further improve stability and compatibility with newer driver releases. Many thanks for accepting my entry and thank you for this excellent resourceful website!
Anyone has any idea how/where to order this to Europe? Haven't found any solution so far.
Or someone getting from US to EU with some empty luggage space by any chance..? 😀
been looking this as well. someone who live in the US, it might be good for you to buy and sell it on ebay with the acceptance of sending it internationally. so, we can get the unit. visiontek really doesn't supply this unit from the US yet and have doubt that they will sell it in Europe or united kingdom

i want to know the weight of power delivery. Would you please tell me..?
The AC power adapter is heavy at 2.5 lbs.
The AC power adapter is heavy at 2.5 lbs.
So, with the gpu, case and power brick, the total weight would be roughly similar to aourus gaming box?

What is the noise level? I am looking to buy my first eGPU. I will use it for photo editing, not heavy-duty gaming. I'll put it under my desk but I would rather not listen to a noisy fan.
