Webcam doesn't work whenever eGPU is connected
I got this laptop not long ago and noticed that the integrated webcams do not turn on at the lock screen for Windows Hello whenever I boot it whilst connected to the eGPU enclosure. Once I disabled the eGPU via device manager under 'Display Adapters', everything else functions normally after reboot.
Some other times, the fingerprint reader fails to run as well. I made sure to uninstall and reinstall these integrated devices, as well as having the latest driver and Windows updates to no avail. I'm no hardware enthusiast as you can probably tell as well as being new to this forum, so I wish somebody has a clue of what's going on; happy to provide any other needed hardware information
@chu, It's a resource allocation priority issue within Windows. Does your eGPU work through hot-plug?
