Zotac AMP BOX Mini Review - Budget Friendly, Promise Aplenty
I have 230W 6pin version and Zotac 1070 mini, and they work perfectly. You only need 8pin cable or get 6+2pin version. Also, remove top cover or it will get very hot
I am planning to buy one of these soon (to use with a 2017 13" Macbook Pro 60W) . I can let you know what the PD is in real life if you are still interested.
@Yovan Noel Please let us know of the PD from 230W option. Typically the Power Delivery is set through the firmware. If it's 60W PD or more that would make it very nice for most Thunderbolt 3 laptops.
@itsage, I currently also have the 230W version here with an MSI RX560 ITX. PD is only 15W unfortunately. I was wondering if it's not possible to modify the firmware somehow as the RX560 only uses 80W max so there is a lot of extra juice available if one is only using a lower end graphics card.
@Sven, I checked over the weekend and the AMP BOX Mini worked fine with an ASUS ZenBook Duo (i7-1165G7). The OMEN Accelerator has its own utility software which may cause issues with host connections.
