Just wondering if anyone had any luck using an eGPU on their internal screen on Solus (or any Linux distro that would work the same)? I have tried some Googling, but there doesn't seem to be much on this topic as most eGPU stuff is on Windows. I have an Akitio Node 3 (RX580) and a Dell Latitude 7400. Anyone know if this is possible and if so how I accomplish it?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Use DRI_PRIME variable as described in the arch wiki here:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PRIME#PRIME_GPU_offloading

This will work for anything running the linux kernel, not just arch obviously.
