I have been able to boot my laptop with the akitio powered up and have the nvidia GPU automatically used.

Then today, for a reason I have yet to find, this isnt possible anymore.

I need to start the akitio only once logged into ubuntu, and then in the nvidia server settings, switch the Prime profile to the nvidia GPU, then log out and log in again.

It was kind of nice to have the GPU working plug and play style. Maybe I'm asking too much.

When I boot with the Akitio running, I never get to the login screen. I get a purple screen of dread.

Turns out all I had to do was saving the xorg.conf under /etc/X11. Great stuff.

Been trying out Mad Max, just to see how the system could handle games.

Its not too good.

CPU usage is through the roof. Like all cores over 80% all the time.

Trying to find out why.

Hi.

I've got a Dell Precision 5510, and I want more GPU power for deep learning, etc, have you tried anything like this on your enclosure/card?

Thanks.

Adam
