2020 gMac 🤔🤔🤔
"Today, out of the blue, a new rumor from Taiwan claims that Apple is planning to launch an e-sports-centric PC next year with a unit price of up to $ 5,000... which will be the first time that Apple has entered the e-sports PC field."
"According to supply chain sources, in addition to the high unit price of Apple ’s new gaming PC products, it may be a large-screen all-in-one (AIO) or a large-screen gaming laptop. Details are not clear at this time. It is expected to be announced at Apple's Global Developer Conference (WWDC) next June."
Well...okay then! 😉
Seems like an elaborate way of saying the fully re-designed iMac arrives late next year...
Worst rumour ever.
defo not happening, but interesting to guess what could have inspired the rumours.
a top end iMac with a Navi Gpu and true notion 120hz 5k display would be a beast of a machine which would also work for gaming.
I should cancel my Mac mini order.
Ha, ha! 😅
I'm already shedding a tear for fans of the iMac's spinning hard drive... 😥
Just did some googling and reading, I imagine it’s a high refresh rate iMac, macos doesn’t have the gaming catalogue to warrant dedicated hardware.
move actually cancelled my mini order, might build a cheap and dirty PC for gaming for a few months before buying whatever this is.
I need more cores.
