Has anybody looked at these mini PCs? They have 8th generation CPUs with DDR4 (non-LP) memory. Each comes with a single TB3 plug. My only hesitation on buying one is the lack of US retailers. Newegg sells then but they are sold and shipped internationally and may be a pain to return if they don't live up to the marketing.

As a comparison point, there is a 8th-gen i9 NUC-sized mini PC available with 2x M.2 slots. We have a M.2 eGPU build for one at:

Benefit there is faster CPU & eGPU performance. If you can Hackintosh that mini PC, the eGPU will show up on the PCIe BUS too.

The bleu jour are considerably smaller than mini-itx. They measure only 4.5"x4.5". Their kickstarter mentions gigabyte, but I can't find any current info on what board is in use.
