Does the ADT-Link R43SG work with a PCIe WWAN Port?
Hi, I am interested in buying a Lenovo T480 which has a second M.2 slot for WWAN/SSD and use it with a ADT-Link R43SG.
Anybody know if this might work?
The Lenovo documentation says the following of the port: "128GB M.2 SSD / PCIe NVMe, PCIe 3.0 x 2, in WWAN slot as 2nd Storage, mutually exclusive with WWAN"
I know it wont have full bandwidth, thats ok.
@ritterbutzke The WWAN slot appears to be key B so you need a key B adapter (key A only supports x1). I don't see very many key B or key B+M adapters.
Hi, yes its B-key, the SSDs that fit in there are M.2/B-M-Key (PCIe 3.0 x2) like Western Digital PC SN520.
Ive written to ADT, maybe they have a solution
I found some key B/M to key B (SATA) but not key B to key M
This one has a key M connector but it's meant only for key B+M devices:
Just to let you know, ADT-Link says its not possible to attach their M.2 egpu to a B-key slot.
I would need to use the M-key slot where my current ssd is and get a 2242 m.2 ssd as my bootdrive.
