[GUIDE] The Best Current (and future?) Windows Laptops for Simple eGPU Setup
@itsage Thanks for the feedback! Out of curiosity, the Razer Stealth + 3 years of full Razercare protection puts it at a similar price point to some of the XPS 13 models (which have more features/quality). What do you think you would pick, or would you be more inclined towards one of the other laptops?
Also, I've so far avoided the MacOS options because it's not my comfort zone, and "plug and play" does not seem to be as simple for those devices. However, if there's an Apple device you would recommend for a newcomer hoping to try an eGPU setup, we can definitely add it (perhaps in just a few months, if you're right about the 28W CPU?)
@nutype Great find, thank you! I've added it to the list with a summary of current information - could be an excellent option in terms of performance per dollar! Looks like the AMD CPU options are already helping to drop the Intel price points (assuming the device delivers as advertised)
Found some benchmarks on it also: https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder?searchTerm=hasee%201065g7

@txz81 sorry for the late reply, but thanks for the find!
The specs on that machine seem just a little too good to be true... and they don’t even list the correct graphics in the specs? Hmm...
To be fair it could be a great gem to pickup if someone is willing to take on some risk, especially if you care about the eGPU setup itself more than the laptop’s build quality. But I don’t think I’d be comfortable including it on the list without at least some hands-on reviews from reliable reviewers.
