What eGPU will work with my 2016 15 inch MacBook Pro?
processor: 2.9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics: Radeon Pro 460 4GB Intel HD Graphics 530 1536MB
Is not for gaming it’s to edit 1080p and maybe some 4k videos on FCPX.
What do I need?

.@mrmac718, If it's macOS non-gaming use, I'd recommend the RX 5700 XT. Take a look at our Buyer's Guide for the TB3 enclosure with at least 87W Power Delivery to charge your 2016 15-in MacBook Pro.

.@mini-i5, I want to add a monitor to this set up, would the Razer Core V2 be better giving me a direct connection to the eGPU via USB port? or how would that work?

.You can connect an external display via DP or HDMI cable to one of the ports on the RX 5700 XT.
The Core X chassis includes a slot opening making the DP and HDMI ports accessible.
You don’t need a V2.
what's the difference between this XFX Force Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra Graphics Card and the RX 5700 XT?

.It’s an overclocked model. A little faster, but some overclocked cards are sometimes less stable and reliable.
Not worth it for you since you won’t be gaming with it.
