I want to install macos Mojave/Catalina but my gpu doesn’t support the software, so i was looking into buying a egpu because I do not want to take apart my iMac and I was wondering what the best egpu would be to get. Looking for cheapest but still good performance

.@dp301, buying an eGPU doesn’t allow you to upgrade to higher (unsupported) versions of macOS.

People have successfully combined #1 and #3.
I haven't seen anyone try combining #2 with #3. I think it should be possible but might take a lot of work? You'll probably have to disable the built-in display.
