Hello. Newb here. I've been researching but can't find a straight answer, and I hear this is the best place in town.

Just ordered the new Samsung Notebook 9 Pro. I haven't decided on an enclosure yet, and I an unsure which GPU to go with. I want something fast and powerful but seeing as the 4 lane PCIE TB3 has limitations I really don't know which GPU to buy. Any words of advice would be appreciated.  Also want a single cable solution.

Thanks!

Welcome Mike!
I'm a Mac guy but specs are specs so will offer some advice based on my experiences...
For one cable, Mantiz Venus is a great option, works with peripherals and an internal SSD (although I am working on the assumption you plan to game).
GPU wise it all depends on use case and expectations. I have a similar CPU as you and get great performance in games @1440 with a Vega 56. A 1070 is also a great choice. Much above that level and returns are diminished due to bottlenecking due to TB3 and CPU.
Share your use case and you'll be albeit get more specific advice, prob from folks way more knowledgable than myself....

Yes forgot to mention gaming for the most part. Currently using GTX 970M for modern games.

Thanks for the reply!
