Hi There, I need CUDA support for Resolve and Blender, I've read a lot but still have a couple of questions sorry:

  1. Can the 2080ti use 10.13's drivers or is the 1080ti the last gen to work (with 10.13)?
  2. Is automate-eGPU EFI the latest and preferred way to get up and running (might've read outdated guides)?
  3. An opportunity to buy a discounted Akitio Node Pro came up so I jumped on it before fully reading the build guides. I can't see any issues (except that this whole thing is a hack!) but thought I'd check my planned setup incase I've missed something:
  • 2013 Mac Pro 12C 2x D700
  • Mac OSX 10.3
  • Apple TB2 –> TB3 adapter,
  • Nvidia 1080ti
  • Blender 2.8 (Eevee)
  • Resolve

Any suggestions welcome and amazing work to all involved here, thank you so much.
Cheers
Ben

There were never drivers for RTX cards in macOS. 1080 Ti is the best choice in 10.13. I’d recommend Purge-Wrangler script for a simpler setup and use. Make sure to connect the Thunderbolt cable from eGPU to one the two bottom Thunderbolt ports of your nMP.

Awesome, thank you so much for the help, and good tip re the bottom two TB ports.

So do the 1080ti drivers work in 10.14 or are they caught up in the current spat between Apple/Nvidia?
