I’ve seen pictures of other people’s rigs, and I can’t tell what cable they’re using to connect the 8 pin GPU to the ADT-Link R43SG.

Is there somewhere I can get one of those 8 pin connectors too? If it helps to know, I’m using a GTX 1660 which also has an 8 pin.

A link would be great! 😀

As far as I know that 8pin male to 2 * 6+2 pin male comes with the R43SG. I bought mine from the original creator ( https://www.adt.link/product/R43SG-Shop.html ) thanks to way better pricing. Will receive it according to DHL in 2-3 days, I could tell more. I will use it with GTX 1660 Ti.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Sweet, let me know if it comes with the cable!

Good luck to your build!

EDIT -

I found out where to get the cable from this post:

https://egpu.io/forums/builds/clevo-n141zu-gtx-1060-6gb-strix32gbps-m2-adt-r3g-win10-timginter/

It looks really good, and if your order doesn’t come with one, you can get the one in the linked post.

Credits go to timginter for the name of the cable!

Yes the cable (the one you see on the thread) included. I have to say based on my build, you can't go wrong with the R43SG, plug in and play. No problems, no additional software nothing. Really glad with it.

Great!

Did you buy the R43SG from Aliexpress or the ADT-Link website?

From Adt.link website. Much better pricing, $48 USD + $30 USD DHL express shipping, so $78 USD all together and received it in 5 days.
