Thunderbolt 3 Host User Map for Firmware Updates

eGPU Resources 31 Comments

Due to the requirement of a Thunderbolt 3 computer in order to flash an enclosure’s firmware, we decided to create this User Map so that our community can help each other. If you have a Thunderbolt 3 computer, please consider adding your location to this map by leaving a comment with your city and country. To contact the members on this map, search for their forum handle here.

Drop me a PM here on the forums and we’ll figure something out. I have a shiny new ZBook G4 I can use to update your enclosure FW, and a Starbucks nearby to meet at.

I should’ve put some spoiler tags 🙂 I’ll be working to set up the eGPU setup later today. I plan to benchmark the Thunder2 first (via TB3->TB2 adapter) before I re-wire everything for the Mantiz board. Spoiler: This is why I was asking about small-sized mATX cases in the thread I opened yesterday 🙂
