Q: What do the eGPU port acronyms like 32Gbps-TB3 mean and what are their ranked & measured peak H2D/write bandwidths?

Hi there, I'm thinking of buying a Razer Core X eGPU enclosure and an AMD RX 5600-XT GPU (specifically: XFX RX 5600 XT THICC II PRO 6GB model) to get some much better performance out of the few games I play on my Mac. However, it isn't listed on Apple's support website here:

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208544

Does it have full compatibility, i.e. is it every bit as smooth, consistent, and plug-and-play as the listed ones on there like the RX 590 or 5700-XT? I don't want to buy it and then find out there are bugs and things...

thanks!

Old thread but the question remain: I see many builds, it seems supported but not listed on Apple support page.

I see a lot of builds systems, and while they appear to be supported, they are not listed on the Apple support website.
